Head of Creative – FTC 12 months

The Role


To provide conceptual and strategic direction to an established creative team and the wider business. The Head of Creative will be responsible for ensuring the creative team design and deliver the highest standard of creative across all our digital mediums.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop a creative strategy that not only meets customer requirements but delivers the core values and attributes of the brand
  • Deliver cutting edge creative solutions to drive the brand forward
  • Act as a thought leader within the business around creative concepts and brand experience
  • Owning the creative output across the board and driving excellence through every area of the business through collaborative working
  • Coach and lead the creative team to deliver high quality, multi-channel campaigns
  • Own and contribute to creative campaigns, ensuring designers are producing work to a very high standard in an efficient manner.
  • Approve all new campaigns and creative sign-off

Person Specification

  • Proven track record of creative leadership
  • Exceptional knowledge of graphic design, typography and corporate identity
  • Strong commercial awareness – ensure work is resourced and budgeted for correctly
  • Strong portfolio
  • Proficient understanding of Adobe Creative suite and Adobe Cloud
  • Minimum of 10 years of creative experience is essential
