Head of Brand – FTC 12 months

The Role

Purpose

The Head of Brand will help us to accelerate our growth internationally & develop the Beauty Bay brand into a household name. Innovation & disruption within our market is top or our agenda.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Create & implement the brand plan & strategy
  • Devising and overseeing a PR & Blogger Outreach Strategy
  • Developing relationships with key Influencers within relevant categories as well as managing Brand Ambassadors
  • Bringing the Beauty Bay brand to life for both industry insiders & customers with innovative Events & Experiential programmes.
  • Manage the Content & Social strategies whilst constantly testing new ways to ensure the community stays engaged with the Beauty Bay brand
  • Monitoring market trends and ensuring the brand is always pioneering
  • Be the gatekeeper for ensuring the Beauty Bay brand is communicated in a consistent manner.
  • Managing, motivating, coaching & growing a leading team of Brand Marketeers
  • Be responsible for ensuring positive & growing brand sentiment
  • Measure performance through brand engagement measures, cost & ROI
  • Managing external agencies where required.

Person Specification

  • 5+ years’ experience developing & implementing brand strategy with Board level stakeholders. eCommerce experience would be an advantage
  • Experience of developing & implementing guidelines & working processes across all Brand Channels
  • Proven track record across all Brand Channels: PR & Outreach, Experiential & Events, Content & Social
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to grow, mentor and motivate a high performing marketing team
  • Strong creative skills
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to convey complex ideas and data simply and clearly in written, presentation and spoken formats
