Account Management Assistant

The Role

The Role:

The role of the Assistant will sit within the Accounts team to support the daily duties of the Account Managers and requests from suppliers. This task focussed role relies heavily on efficient administration duties, as well as internal and external communication flow around supplier activity to ensure that products are brought into the business on time and no supplier opportunity is missed.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Support the account managers with day to day activities
  • Daily and weekly reporting on supplier coverage from the BB brand
  • Reporting on what activity competitors are doing
  • Reviewing our supplier ranges
  • New product watch – reporting back on any new products spotted on social media or competitor shops
  • New line information chasing from suppliers
  • EU Compliance checking and chasing
  • Sample requesting, logging, checking, and transit onto internal teams
  • Working with the accounts team to put together responses to marketing requests
  • Price checking against finance requests
  • Putting together brand packs for meetings and supplier mail shots
  • Assistance with ad hoc supplier requests

  • A positive, supportive team player
  • Efficient organisational skills with an ability to prioritise
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Takes pride in attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
