The Merchandise team are responsible for managing business stock levels as well as providing analysis and insight into general performance. The team works closely with a number of other departments in sharing information and more importantly, helping to steer the commercial decision-making and agree actions based on the current trading position.

Merchandising makes sure the right replenishment volumes are placed and ensures all suppliers deliver in time, including working with the logistics department in coordinating freight from our many exclusive US brands.

It is a role that demands a logical & analytical base to problem-solve effectively, but also provokes creative thinking in trading the department hard to optimise sales and profit continually. Strategic and long-term thinking are also key to ensuring best practice is maintained and that the team are being proactive in anticipating risk or challenges.
